Reimbursement
Reimbursement Program
Round Top Teachers and Staff
The PTO is proud to offer teachers and staff in the 2023-2024 school year with a small budget for each faculty member. All reimbursement must be for the benefit of students for student enrichment in the classroom or for school-wide events.

Example of items to purchase:
Supplies not provided by the district, books for classroom library, posters, etc...
Examples of items not allowed for reimbursement:
Gift cards; candy, food or treats for the classroom; faculty/staff for gifts to students to include but not limited to Christmas and/or End of Year gifts; curriculum not approved by RTE Administration.
Additional Reimbursement Policy:
Unused reimbursement funds allotted to each teacher/staff member will no longer be allowed to be transferred to another teacher/staff member. If additional funds are needed by a teacher/staff member, please request additional funds to the RTE PTO in writing via rtepto@gmail.com.
Items purchased for reimbursements must be purchased by the lead teacher/staff member, and submitted to the PTO by the same. Assistants and TA’s must go through the leader teacher/staff member.
Final reimbursement requests will be due by the last school day in April. All extensions must be requested through the RTE PTO.
Reimbursement checks will be made to individuals. Grants will be paid to either the individual or to the school based on the grant request. The PTO will not pay companies directly for purchases (i.e. no invoices).
All reimbursement requests for online purchases must include receipts/shipping invoices that reflect the item(s) having been shipped/received (as opposed to “not yet shipped” and Order Detail images that do not clearly show the shipped and received orders).
Grants:
An RTE PTO grant is a sum of money allotted for a particular purpose such as a project, educational event, or additional school resources. These grants must be requested in writing and sent to the RTE PTO for approval. The executive board will vote on each grant request. Grants must benefit students school-wide or grade-wide in an educational capacity for student enrichment. Approved grants must be used in the current school year.
